Nikolaos Vlaseros is a math teacher. He got his Mathematics Bachelor degree in the University of Athens and his Masters in Mathematics and Science Education in the University of Amsterdam. After teaching in higher secondary education for a few years in Athens, he moved to Loughborough on a PhD scholarship. His academic interests revolve around math teachers’ pre-service training and how to improve it, and topics around equity in mathematics education. He also writes about himself in the third person because apparently, that’s how you do bios.
